How to play My Bruiser
Your bruiser fights on its own. You make two choices before each fight: the opponent and the stance. Everything else (hits, weapons, pets) plays out automatically in a replay of about thirty seconds.
My Bruiser is a free fighting game that runs in your browser, on mobile or desktop, with nothing to download. If you played MyBrute, you will recognise the auto-battle idea, with its own silly universe. Tap a picture to select it, then tap it again to see what it does.
What is the goal?
Make your bruiser grow: win fights, level up and collect weapons, skills and pets. Each win gives XP and gold. Then come the daily tournament, the chocolate medals and 15 ranks, from "Playground bruiser" to "Legendary bruiser".
Build your bruiser
Pick a name and male or female: the look is random. It takes ten seconds, no sign-up. To keep your bruiser on another device, save it with your e-mail. You can own up to 3 bruisers per account, each with its own gold.
Stances: rock, paper, scissors with fists
Each stance has bonuses and drawbacks, and beats another one. Windmill beats Tango, Tango beats Big guns, Big guns beats Return to sender, which beats Windmill. Against the right stance, your hits hurt more.
Three premium stances (Two-faced, Total meltdown, Brick wall) form a second circle. You cannot see your opponent's stance, except with rank 10 "Eagle eye", which reveals 2 out of 6.
Pick your opponent
The arena offers opponents of your level, give or take 2. Compare their strength, agility, HP and weapon and pet icons before hitting "Brawl!". "Neighbourhood bruisers" are opponents generated by the game, and always labelled as such. You get 5 arena fights per day.
Weapons during the fight
You do not control anything during the fight. Each turn, your bruiser has a one-in-two chance of pulling a weapon from its inventory. Thrown weapons are gone once thrown, some break, and the opponent can disarm you. There are 34 weapons, from a flip-flop to an anvil on a stick.
Levelling up: the cards
At each level you are offered two cards and keep one: a weapon, a skill, a pet, a stance or stat points. If you like neither, reroll them for gold.
Pets fight by your side and rank up (Chihuahua, then Grumpy poodle, then Armoured bulldog).
Tournament, chocolate medals and ranks
Enter tomorrow's tournament: it plays itself and earns chocolate medals. Medals raise your rank, and each rank gives a real combat power. They cannot be bought. The biggest medal collectors show up on the bruiser leaderboard.

Is My Bruiser free?
Yes. The full game is free. A shop sells Peanuts as one-off purchases for a few extras, never XP or gold.
What game is like MyBrute?
My Bruiser takes MyBrute's idea of an automatic fight where you pick your opponent, and adds stances, evolving pets, a daily tournament and ranks. It is an independent game, not affiliated with MyBrute or its publishers.
Do I need to download anything?
No, it all runs in the browser, on phone, tablet or computer.
How long does a fight last?
About thirty seconds of replay, which you can speed up or skip.
